What’s Your Jewish Story?
Do you love cooking? Do you have an interest in film making? Better Together Metro DC will bring together 7th-8th graders and active seniors from our community for an exploration of culinary arts and storytelling. With your senior partner, you will work with an experienced professional chef to learn how to create traditional Jewish foods while hearing their stories about their experience moving to the Diaspora. At the end of the year, we will take these stories and create a documentary to share with the community. A schedule will be shared shortly and participants are expected to attend all teen sessions.
Community Service hours documentation will be available upon request.
